On Thursday 12 June, Apzi – Voka West Flanders organised the 17th edition of Port Golf Day, an exclusive networking event for the Zeebrugge port community. Both experienced and novice golfers enjoyed a packed programme at the Royal Zoute Golf Club in Knokke-Heist. But it was about more than just golf: Apzi-Voka brought port entrepreneurs together in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy themselves and network. Under a bright sun, we welcomed an enthusiastic group of participants.
On the Championship Course, first prize went to the team of Raymond Troch and Philippe Fierens (ExSeCo). Second place went to William Demoor (Port of Antwerp-Bruges) and Vincent Maldague (Port of Antwerp-Bruges), followed by Greet Van Wesemael (Port of Antwerp-Bruges) and Arthur Willems (ICTS) in third place.
The prize for the “Longest Drive” went to Sandra De Mey (North Sea Port), while Alex De Vos took home the trophy for “Nearest to the Pin”.
Dimitri Dendooven (ICO) won the Executive Course, with Jean-Pierre Devolder (Willemen Infra) in second place and Fernand Mermuys in third.
The eventful day concluded in style with a well-deserved gourmet dinner in the clubhouse.
Thanks to all the sponsors who made this event possible for the Zeebrugge port community:
